The New York Daily News' DeFrank reports that Dick Cheney "launched a last-ditch campaign" to get Scooter Libby pardoned, and that when former President Bush didn't do so, Cheney was "furious."
Is there a riff between "W" and Dick? Could it be that as conspirators together while in office that their loyalties no longer lie with each other? How much more unraveling can the G.O.P. stand?
I for one hope that all is disclosed in some form or fashion about the activities of the last 8 years. Even if these two and all their other cronies never do a day in jail, I still hope that every questionable act is laid out on the table for all to see.
